Just bought my first Dodge Ram. Its actually my first truck. Ive always wanted a truck and am finally at that point in my life to afford a nicer 1/2 ton.

Found a 2010 Ram 1500 for sale at a local dealership... Went to get a cashiers check for the truck and came back to find they were selling it to someone else. Needless to say I was furious. The sales manager however made things right. He gave me a steal of a deal on a similar 2010 with less miles. I only know it was a steal because my father is a car dealer in MO and was able to look up the truck on the Manheim website and tell me what it went for at the auction. I got the truck for $100 over what they had in it.

I come from the Jeep world, so I usually would post a "build thread," but I'm not planning on doing any major modifications to this truck.

My plan is to level it out with a 2.5" kit, black out the chrome, tint the front windows, black wheels, bed line, smoked lights, and painting the bumpers.

Already got a jump start with the black out. I also bought a used stereo from another RAM online. Its not the base stereo, its the next step up with uconnect. Id like to get the factory nav system eventually.

Much better. Windows tinted and wheels replaced.

Minor aesthetic changes to come, as well as leveling pucks. Looking for some tube steps that I can paint black and throw on there, along with a black exhaust tip.

Cheers!
