Hey guys, my 6.4 mega blackout headlights are starting to crinkle in the serrations on the plastic around the projector. If you're looking at the headlights straight on its at about the 5oclock position on the passenger light and 7oclock on the drivers side light. It's like the black paint is starting to crinkle from the heat.
I talked to my dealer about it and they said they'd need to test my headlights before they could replace them, whatever that means. (Absolutely infuriating dealing with them so far)
Anybody else's projectors doing the same thing?

I've read of this in other threads on other forums. "They" were saying that it was the sun doing it....some sort of a magnify glass effect. Again, this is just hearsay.

Yup, I was wondering the same thing a while back. So I asked Jeremy at RetroShop and that's what he told me. Weird I know, but it hasn't gotten any worse.

I figured it was heat from the projector since the beams are aimed roughly more towards center and down. That would make the most sense. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I looked around the lot when I was at the stealership, but they only had chrome housing projector' trucks. None of them showed any signs of the crinkling but they were new and chrome would reflect the heat...
