We had our first freeze last night, so I thought I'd plug in the block heater tonight. I have a 2012 quad cab. Just curious; has anyone ever heard a faint "fluttering", or clicking sound when its plugged in?<br />

Thats normal. It means its working.
But plugging it in already? Even in Alaska they aint plugging in yet. ****, I don't plug in till its hitting -20.
