Body Rust

How many people have really bad body rust on these?

My back wheel well is rusting apart and starting to come over to the body, same with the front panel and the hood.

Ugh that sucks.. first thing I did was undercoat the crap out of everything when it warmed up the first year I had it because of how bad some of my buddies gen 3s rusted out.

Seems that Gen 3's are rustproof at least over the rear wheels. I understand that in the original build they used some sort of putty that would up holding all sorts of dirt in the area allowing rust to form. By the time you see it, the damage is long done. I knew a guy who babied his and within several years the bubbles were showing. The Gen 4 assembly procedure is supposedly much improved and given how long it's been around I will say I rarely see rusted rear wheel openings.

I take it you must live in a salt state? 2012's down here are all perfect
