Bodylift 3"s

HEY Guys, ,
I plan on doing my bodylift this weekend,
OR Half of it anyways i will proly end up getting done,
working alone, and slowed down by an injury...

can anyone tell me on the 2nd gen rams,
with a 3" body lift - does the steering extension need to be added , or does it extend on its own?(ive been told it does)

and what other issues did you personally run into

i know on the 3rd gens i needs to be installed so i would assume its the same way with the 2nd gens but some else will hopefully chime in.

What kit did you get? Should be a manual on their website of everything that needs to be done

Yes the extension is needed other than that you will have to extend your shift linkage and 4wd shifter. I installed my body lift on my 96 by myself in my barn it took about 10 hours all together

Well, because of rain today and no garage to do the work in this weekend i didnt get around to installin the lift,

i did get it all ready to go tho, cracked all bodymount nuts loose, removed spare tire ( been there since 1995 ....:s
i may be able to get the blocks all in tomorow, and the rest next weekend, it is not a kit, i just had the blocks and the bolts and for what i stupidly paid for them its not worth it now to buy a kit again so ..i will have to get the steering extension , and the other extensions i need later on,
DOES anyone know where i can buy them seperatly, ?
and as for bumper brackets , i will make them myself

another question , is anyone runnin dual electric fans on there rig? without a clutch fan ?...thanks
