Bolt fell out off side of tailgate - for tailgate assist

hey I have a 2016 ram 1500 sport. I went to open the tailgate and it just dropped. I checked the shock and it’s not even connected to the tailgate. The nut is gone. Anyone know if this is something special order? Or could I buy one anywhere. Not sure of the size but it is a ball with threads on the end right to screw into tailgate? I tried to google this, but to no avail.
