Borla S Type Catback

Does anyone on here have any experience with the Borla S type catback? I don't see too much posted about it, but I have seen a couple videos on youtube where it sounds great. Im specifically looking at the kit because of the sound and that it has 5" black tips.

Not sure of the model, but over the years I have read about obnoxious from on borla exhausts.

One of the only reviews I read said the exhaust got quieter when it broke it. However I couple videos I saw of it, it sounded perfect. I just want to make sure no one had any issue with figment

I havent heard the S on a RAM in a while but i remember it having a nice DEEP tone. I wouldnt worry about Borla having fitment issues, Their kits always fit great.

Hey Fellas, I just had the Borla S catback with 5" crome tips installed on my 2018 Ram...Its a complete stainless steel system with mandrel bends....It's throaty with zero drone, nice deep tone at idle and cruise and gets deeper and lounder under mid-heavy accereration... In a word "Perfect". I couldn't be happier...
It also has builtin resonators which I'm sure makes a huge difference. Like alot of people said even the muffler shop that did the install "pricey" but you get what you pay for with the catback system! I asked the muffler shop they said Fitment was flawless with zero issues during install. I would have done it myself, but for $100 install and me with no lift it was a no brainer...

What gear ratio is your Ram? Wondering if I can find a no drone system for my 3.21 gears. My Carven sounds great but there is some drone and MDS definitely makes it more noticeable.

If ya going to keep MDS turned on I say keep stock exhaust.

HG, I don't know who wrote what you read, but they are spreading misinformation. Borlas are as good as you can buy. They are priced accordingly. But they're still a bargain.

I've had a pair on my Mustang, that spends a lot of time in my garage, for years now. They're still bright and shiney.

Corsa wont drone and sounds great. Most customers say their Borla doesnt drone. Let me know if you would like a quote, just send me a message
