Just a little FYI for the guys with 17" wheels.
I changed my brake bads and rotors the other day. Got it all buttoned up and I had a squeek. Sounded like metal on metal.
Pulled the wheel and tire of and noticed a grove on the inside of my wheel. Then I looked at the retaining clips on the caliper (the ones that hold the pads) and saw the clip was bent up further than the other. The clip was rubbing on my wheel.
Pushed the clip back down, buttoned it back up, squeek gone.
I'm not sure how the half ton trucks brakes are, but this is on a 2500 Cummins.
In the pic I circled the clips... they are kinda hard to see.
