Brake controller doesn’t appear on dash

I went to settings and selected ‘light electric trailer brakes’, then set the gain at about 5 to start. But when I braked to test it, there’s no way indication of that on the dash. Am I missing something?

Did you have a trailer connected? The brake pedal only works with the trailer connected. You can squeeze the levers without a trailer connected and they will move the dash gauge.

Yes. When I said I was testing it, I meant braking and seeing if the trailer was braking enough and not too much. But I’m seeing nothing on the dash.

You have to have the instrument cluster on the trailer brake page, it won't just pop up.
