2019 Larime level 2 group when I had the dealer install the factory after I purchased the truck, the brake controller he told me that my trip odometer function will not work any more. has anyone else been told this and have they come up with a work around or an upgrade

Tell your dealer to pass over what ever he is smoking!

You have a separate trip function for towing a trailer.
I installed my IBC and programmed it with AlphaObd. Mine works fine.
