just bought a 2001 dodge ram 1500 and having brake problems. The front driver's side sticks. It doesn't stick solid but its very hard to turn. I replaced the caliper and both front rubber break lines but no change. I greased the slides but still doesn't release like it should. any ideas what do try next?

I would open the bleeder valve to the caliper and push a fair amount of fluid through it, maybe you have a blockage. If that doesn't change anything, look for a kink or flat spot on the steel line.

Check that the caliper mounting bolts aren't tweaked at all. Could be mechanically binding, not actually sticking. Have you checked the rotor for run out? (warping)

After you step on the brake pedal and the caliper is sticking, open the bleeder to see if that releases it. If it doesn't, it isn't hydraulic lock and not a brake line issue.
