Oh, that’s a good idea! I can try that. I have used multiple new pads with the same result so I was starting to rule that out but that’s a good troubleshooting idea. Thank you!
I would disable the ABS and then try it. I have encountered some weird stuff happening because of ABS

I had a caliper slide pin that was dried out and hanging up. Wouldn't fully release one end of the pad and caused diagonal wear that eventually led to that end of the backing plate contacting and scarring the rotor.

Was my inside pad, front passenger side.

Totally my fault for not checking them out closer.

My pads were getting to the point of replacement anyway, but I replaced both front rotors as well, since one was damaged.

BTW, my nephew has a 2018 Laramie, he had the same dried out pin do the same thing to the same pad and rotor on his Ram.

I've had similar issues with all four tires locking up then releasing when cool. Replaced calipers pins hoses pads and module booster and master. Still having issues when heavy braking...

If it was an older solid axle I would be suspect of the swing arm bushings between axle/frame, but 18 I'm thinking ABS issue.
