The cheap set I have I think are made by Dorman were like $60 on amazon. Still not as cheap cost wise as the paint but maybe the thought of helping with brake dust could be a factor to you. I'm pretty satisfied with them. Not knocking your choice just something for thought.

+1 i did it to a: see if i liked red and b: to see if the cheaper ones fit. I had a minor issue w back tabs scraping a bit, but adjusted them once and been good for a year. i can reach them thru my wheels and the dirt /dust just wipes off

Around $250 for a set of aluminum covers vs $25 for caliper paint was an easy decision for me.

I started epoxy coating my calipers on my vehicles about 20 years ago, so I'm very familure about how long it last and looks good.
But after you paint them again, then again...it gets old.
Personally I just got tired of the re-painting every few years, but then, I probably keep my truck cleaner than most too.
Mines not a daily driver so it's always spotless.
It was well worth the $250 for me, plus no more brake dust on my clean wheels!
I guess it just comes down to value vs cost, that was a no brainer for me.

Beautiful truck. Glad you have some chrome on it too, looks very sharp with that color! Like the blue Van Halen covers also.

i have same color truck and same wheels

now you got me thinking of color matching the covers on mine...SHARP LOOK

Callahan rotors & pads on Amazon.
Rotors shipped from Powerstop, tossed the pads in favor of Wagner OEX.
