The dipstick tube is fine. But my dipstick became unattached from the T handle. And then fell about 12 inches down the tube.
Can I drive it like this? Unfortunately I have to drive it tomorrow morning for at least an hour each way. Two hours total.

I don't know about your truck, but on another brand engine the dipstick tube can be worked out by wiggling

Yup. Pull out the dipstick tube from block. Rubber o ring seals it. Easy. If it’s too tight, stick something round in it to stop collapse and grab it with pliers or grips to wriggle loose
