Your first line in your post turned me off, But as you another Ca. guy, I will say listen to your wife. I like the idea of lowering, I have never understood lift kits, most I see on this country live in he city.
But I am in the shiny chrome camp , remember side pipes and fender skirts?
All those wheels you show would not work on a truck, would they ? street rod look.

Just a guess, but I think that may be directed at one person in particular who makes it a regular habit to hit every opinion thread like this to unload some boring rant about making his own decisions on when to eat dinner. I think I’m going to play it safe and go with a gloss black 5 spoke 24”.
Here are the same rims in a 26 I found on the internet but mine will be lowered 2/4 and I an debadged and have the blacked out projectors. (The black out and switchbacks coming soon)

I like the bronze color with granite, wish they the 20 inch hellcats out when I bought wheels.

the wheel is cool, but I believe there would be a style clash. when I see large multi spoke wheels. I think of Lincolns. I wouldn't shy away because of bronze, but the wheel style.

For the OP, I like the bronze wheels so long as there is no chrome on the truck. Otherwise the bronze and the chrome clash.

that was part of my thinking when i decided to go with black lug nuts. its so little chrome may not have mattered but...i don't like the idea of the mcgard and rest of nuts not matching. it became even more noticeable when i switched to the smaller gorilla nuts and would have been even more noticeable on the new rims.
