Was wondering if anyone has successfully toned down their chrome parts to brushed. I remember a while ago , actually many years I tried this on some chrome window trims around my automotive windows. I used scotch pad and dragged the pad in one direction creating a brushed chrome look.
Or alternatively something similar to what Audi uses on their S line sport trim models, the brushed metal look mirror covers and so forth,. Anyone make them for our trucks?
Perhaps spraying the front chrome grill and bumpers a semi matt silver finish might do the trick? I guess its one of those things that its best to do it on spare parts first. Im thinking semi sheen or matt silver on all the chrome parts on the big horn / lone star may look good.
