Anyone know of a pre built 8hp70 trans for sell?
Tried to get out of 1st gear at WOT and was introduced to slip city, lol.
Looks like from what I can find these companies require a transmission to be sent to them then they build it once received. Looking to buy one pre built to shorten the down time.
Any help is appreciated.

Best bet is probably low miles used with these trucks being so common.

Did you try contacting Charles at Hell Raiser ,another one to talk to would be Bill at Paramount. Have you considered swapping a 8HP90 into it instead.Check with Hell Raiser on swapping the 90 into it,if that swap interests you. Who's your tuner,as stock 70's have been holding upwards of 700rwhp with a very good tranny tune.Alot of the blown up 70's can be traced back to a medicore tranny tune

Nope, I definitely need something that can handle 700/700 hp torque.
397 with 13psi boost.

Tuner is Satera, I would like to stay with the 8hp70 if possible so I do not need to buy another driveshaft and also a different crossmember support. But if that is my only option I cannot be picky

I have yet to send my tuner a data log of the slippage issue I ran into today, today was the 1st time I floored it in 1st gear, it would never engage to 2nd gear unfortunately.

Well you got the best tranny tuner going if you have Satera tuning it,lol

I know a few guys who swapped in a low miles used trans and sent out their cores for rebuild with a hp75 core rebuild. Hellraiser is doing the hp75 upgraded. That’s rated to 1100hp I think. It upgrades the clutch packs.
Edit: just so you know it’s still you hp70 casing. Just upgraded to the hp75 internals.

Don't quote me on this,but i'd hazard a guess Jeremy might be able to cure that issue in the tranny tune,and save you the cost of replacing it.It looks like it's hitting the limiter to quick,and then going into limp mode.Hopefully it'll be curable in the tune for you. They go through 1st so fast,sometimes you have to set 1st and 2nd's shift points a couple hundred rpm lower then the rest of the shifts.You're at the outer limits of the 70,but i think Jeremy should be able to keep it alive a bit longer for you

I did a data log with what was seen on the video, I will send it to Jeremy and see if we can iron it out, it shifts awsome from 3rd on, but 1st and 2nd cannot handle it as of now. We will see Monday if I can get this tuned out.

Yea i don't think the tranny is slipping so much,it looks like it's blowing through 1st faster then it can make the shift into 2nd ,causing it to hit the limiter,it's not an uncommon issue on higher horsepower trucks,especially on the first tune.I think a revision or 2 on your tranny tune will make a big differance.
The truck hauls ass,lol
