and then the second time i tried doin says sd card not found removed card put it back in same thing so now its not compatible and it doesn't want to read the sd card tried contacting BD but they close on saturday it cant get much better that this huh!!!

starting to hate this tuner they just could not make a normal one just plug to obd port install it remove from port and just put it away like diablo,sct etcc... i almost feel if i drop is going to break i would not care of size if itwas working but im real dissapointed till now hope this gets fix will contact bullydog on tuesday

I got mine to successfully update, well it looks like it. Has the 2013 option, says thats what's loaded on the start up screen. However, when i tried to upload the tune to the truck it says it is VIN locked. The VIN stored in the unit is the right truck, just wont load. Since it's all mounted up with a pod mount, i thought I'd leave it it till tech support is open but more problems. Only a couple of the gauges read correctly, most read negative temps, no changes in pressures, load reads 100% at like 3/4 throttle on a flat road. Pretty lame! Plus I'm leaving monday morning for a week long trailer trip that i was hoping id have the tune for. Oh well, should have waited for a Trin i guess.

ALL BULLY DOG tuners are now shipping in Demo mode and it will read Vin locked until you exit demo mode, and update the software to the latest release!

I've done all that, update the SD card with my vehicle, updated the unit to my vehicle with usp, changed vehicle, update software on unit's menu. Still VINH locked

Yes there seems to be a follow on issue for some of them. I worked with BD to get it started initially but my issue and apparently some other peoples from talking with them run a little deeper.

Obviously I was stuck in demo mode so when I went back and downloaded all vehicles I was finally able to select 2013 Ram, but now it say it is locked to the previous vehicle, which is mine. Guess I call them on Tuesday about getting it unlocked.

Same thing here got the sd card working updated. It an now i have the option to choose
2013 on the tuner but it says vin locked

That's what happened to me. I called BD to get the proper way to undo demo mode because I didn't want to mess it up. I followed the steps and ended up in the same place.

They told me to select the closest model which was the 10-12 Ram. Update/Load the GT once that was accepted. Then connect it to the Update Agent and select the proper download. Once that was done connect it to the truck and go through the rest of the install. The GT would never load the 2013 settings for the Ram. It did communicate with the truck and accept the Vin number etc. I even used it to clear the gas cap code I had. It just simply would not do the 2013 Ram, then when I was told to update it again it only wanted to download as a GT Diesel.

Damn I must be one of the lucky ones to actually get it loaded into my truck. I'm calling them about the problems with the additional features that don't work. I guess it's going to be a busy day for Bullydog on Tuesday.

they told me im in california so they didnt want to help me as is illegal supposibly for them but all they said they are working on it that tomorrow morning should have a fix for the vin lock issue

I called them yesterday and was told I would have something by the end of the day!! We know what that means, they don't have a fix yet for unlocking the vin!!

Sounds like they were willing to take everyone's money but the product wasnt complete. I will be staying away from this mess!

The way I budget play money, the tuner isn't scheduled until this summer.

For those that currently have the tuner, I would just return my truck to stock, and wait it out. Bullydog will get it straight soon.
