I changed the settings from stock to regular and I hit the button to change the tire size by mistake, now every time I remove the tuner and reinstall it takes the wrong tire size that I accidentally put in and my speedo is off

Please help

Need to know what tire size should I put in so it reads right. I have stock tires on my ram.

If your tires are factory 275/60/20s like my 2012 your tire size should be 32.9...

275/25.4 x .6 x 2 + 20 = 32.99

The Bullydog has tire diameter sizes in increments of about 3 tenths IIRC so you should set it for 32.91 I believe is the size closest to factory if you have 20 inch wheels.

I'm still holding out I guess till fall- maybe bugs will be gone. I would like to hear from someone who thinks they have everything working that they want and what they feel improvements are to MPG, performance, Traction control etc... I don't care about seatbelt dinger. Anyone?

There's still not much going on with this tuner, I just had BD check to see if they had improvements and the answer was no. I feel no changes, AT ALL, with this tuner so far. The tech admitted there was no torque management fixes in the tune yet. I have the standard tune, running 91 octane with no change in power. Half of the gauge features read incorrect values. Of the 2 special features I'm interested in, DRL and fogs with highs, only the fogs work. Most of the other features can already be changed with the EVIC.
As for the stock tire, or any tire, question, it is always best to check on the manufacturer's web site for that tire size and model and they will give you the spec you need, there can always be slight changes between a size. I got my Terras spot on doing that.

MPG increase with tuner ?

hey guys. my question regarding buying the 40430 is if it is worth my investment for what im looking for. i just bought my 2013 big horn 1500 and i know i have to give it time to break in, but ultimately im looking for better gas mileage. i just ordered a F.A.I. and eventually will put on a magna flow muffler. what kind of fuel mileage gain may i expect , if any ?
the oil catch can interests me also. mine has the 6 spd. auto and a 3.21 :1 rear gear. the truck has enough power for my needs . id just like to up the fuel economy if possible. any comments will be much appreciated. thanks, glen.

I have all the extra features working now but don't feel any difference in performance or fuel mileage either. In my opinion at this time it's not worth the money. If they come out with updates to increase performance maybe this will change my opinion.

Honestly, it may be because I pestered the crap out of the engineer/programmer at BD with all my troubleshooting questions and troubleshooting the BD GT. I spent the biggest part of a week talking back and forth till they finally wrote a specific program just for my 13'. Mine kept throwing faults and engine lights and each time told them what was going on and the engineer would send me the file. The seatbelt dinger still doesn't work, but haven't addressed that issue as of yet. I have installed the 87mm TB and catch can from Moe's, tuned BD GT to regular or 87 octane and found a station selling gas with no ethanol and holy crap!!! It woke the dragon.

Your EVIC will show maybe a slight gain on highway, but honestly your not going to see much more than 2-3 with all your mods. People have different opinions on this though.

Just to let everyone know Bullydog has another update for our 2013 Ram Hemis. I downloaded it today although I don't know specifically what was updated. I was told some bug fixes and a slight performance increase. The latest update is A015.

You wouldn't happen to have the link for the A015 download so I can not call damn tech support again?

Bully Dog has been avoiding my emails and won't give me a straight answer to my very specific question about the DRL feature on their tuner. My truck is a 2013 RAM 1500 (Canadian model) with daytime running lights. I asked them to confirm if their tuner will turn off my DRLs. I got a very impressive cut and paste job of their brief product description as a reply, but no real answer. And they still won't give me a clear answer.

Has anyone here ever heard, seen or actually turned off the DRLs on a 2013 RAM 1500 (Canadian model)?
