Bullydog Tuner Questions

So the BD unit offers a lot of things I don't really care about. Simply because my truck has the 7 inch in dash unit that does all of this already, to include gauges for trans temp, coolant temp, trailer gain if I get the module etc. My questions is for those that have installed this if you leave these alone and just load the tune do they impact the truck or are they not used? More clearly is I want the truck to use what I have set through the stock options and not use the BD features other than the tune and maybe MDS shut off. Will I be able to do that?

any tuner I've ever seen if you don't change anything in the user functions they stay at default setting (stock)

Your truck will keep the stock options till you change them in the bully dog.

That is the exact answer I was hoping for. I have used tuners on motorcycles for years but never put one into a 4 wheel vehicle. Motorcycle units are less about added features and more about fuel system tuning.
