Halfs tons with plow pics?

I am considering SOMEDAY getting a plow for my 1500. I've read mixed opinions on whether it'll work on a 1500 or not. But I'm not here to discuss that. I want to know if anybody has the sport bumper notched for the push plates? I want to see how it looks and how much would have to be notched.

I install alot of western plows at work even on 1500s tell them u want a midweight it will work perfect on a 1500 and for the dodges it just removal of the lower plastic valance no other notching required... I would go western anyhow just for the fact that when u remove the plow and the horns no one will even notice that ur truck is set up for a plow

Cool! So it would be simple enough during the plow season to remove the lower piece...and hook up the plow. Then in the summer put that piece back on?
