Well grandson has some ideas, cover for back, duel exhaust to start. What ever I can get away with, wife actually found it, knowing her she will go overboard fixing it up, he will want to take it over to Gatlinburg for their truck shows I'm guessing after we noodle with it.

Yeah he likes the yellow, his girlfriend doesn't. He has already named it. "the big cheese" says it looks like a block of Velveeta cheese. I think it is called "Solar Yellow". I think if it was puke green he would still drive it.

Well wife wanted to let him have her 2012 1500 Dodge Ram, and she wanted to get the new Dodge Ram sport 2016. It was $52,000.00 on the lot. Nice but a lot of cash, and she actually likes the body style of the 2013-2014 better. She agreed to keep her's and she was the one pushing for this one. I think she is going to sneak and drive it, knowing her.

Is he wanting a hard cover or soft roll up one? Cause I love my roll up one and I would definitely recommend it.

For dual exhaust just go with whatever he likes the most. Look up some different ones on youtube. I prefer Flowmaster but the general consensus on this forum is magnaflow. But its ultimately a matter of personal preference.

Grandson is a careful driver, it kinda runs in our family that we buy "old vehicles" and fix them up. Sort of a hobby, some good bonding time with the grandkids. You finally get so old that hanging out in the garage under the hood with the kids up on this mountain is a good way to kill 24 hours a day, and keep it legal.

He wants soft roll up. Wife has tonau cover that folds back (hard cover) paid $700.00 for is (Leonards) at first she wanted the fiberglass one but later decided against it. She hauls a lot of stuff in hers, so the fold back she now likes it. Kid is looking at exhaust I'm sure he will chime in what he thinks we should install. He is mechanically inclined, so he will want to work on it.

For exhaust go to the engine and performance section. There's a sticky thread for exhaust videos.

Exterior wise i build projector headlights or many on here use LED bulbs and love em.

Make sure to do the plenum before it becomes a problem as well.

My 2001 with 119,000 miles,5.9 one owner when i bought it 5800.00$ out the door in 2012 . And the same truck now. Added wheels and dual exhaust, lift kit 2 1/2", nerf bars and 33's and finally 2 light bars.
