Buying a 2014 sport ccsb questions

The morning after I got home it see's it's first snow. Then prob another 14" more snow after that in a week. Got its first oil change the day I got home per the dealers request at 1000 miles.


Tonneau cover and Avs rain guards are on the way. The mrs wants to get the mopar slush mats as a gift. I love this truck. I've only got one complaint and that's when the Eco mode turns on under 2k rpm & under 40mph it sounds and feels like crap. Other than that this truck has over exceeded my expectations

Thanks! My cousin has a black 13 sport that turned me onto these trucks. Def a fan of black as well.

I took it on its first trip with a car trailer and towed approx 5000lbs total through the upstate ny hills. Got 13.5mpg in tow/haul mode and not one hiccup at all. 497 miles roundtrip, even had the mrs with me and she was comfortable the whole time.

Lol Thanks. Thats my almost 11 year old Chow Chow/Sharpei mix. She barks maybe once a month when someone rings the doorbell lol.

The truck was flawless throughout the whole trip in upstate NY. Up and Down major hills and the elevation was def high enough to make the ears pop. Got 14mpg towing about 5000lbs. Truck was comfortable enough for the mrs to not even know the trailer was on the back and i loved the engine braking coming down hills and slowing to stop lights.

I love this truck and now I understand why everyone ive talked to on here or outside of this forum with a ram "LOVES THERE TRUCK".

lol thats def her winter coat. And surprisingly enough she doesnt shed so the truck has been fairly clean with her in it(furball wise lol)

Just got a best top ez fold tonneau and rain guards. My girl got the mopar slush mats for me as a gift. I'm almost done with accessories. Got to put a bedliner in (thinking line-x or rhino liner, not sure yet but open to suggestions) and tinting the front windows. Then I'm all done for accessories

Quick question....which one did you get? Your second pic on the second page is a quadccab..but the last pic with the trailer, its a crew cab.

That's funny you say that. It's the focus on my camera that made it look like a quad cab. But it's the same truck. I bought a crew cab.

went to the dealer today to have them take digital pictures of the rear end underneath. It has surface rust on the drivers side where the axle meets the pumpkin. They are sending off the pictures to chrysler on monday.

I went walking around the dealers lot and they had a brand new 2014 express silver 4x4 and I looked underneath.. The truck had the same rust on the drivers side where the axle meets the pumpkin. The truck had 6 miles on it.

IDK I understand the chemicals on the road are harsh. It seems like a normal thing to happen to these trucks, I just figured its been 1 month since I bought it. This shouldnt happen for a while. But maybe im wrong

They also have pictures of my headlight condensation issues. They are gonna let chrysler know about that as well
