Has any one in AR, TX, LA or OK been able to buy a new Ram below invoice before rebates?

You should be able to get $10k to $12k off a 2019 sticker about now.

I never asked for invoice. To me the invoice meant nothing. Dealers cost is below invoice.

I would expect at least 18% off MSRP on a 2019 and much more off a 2018. I was able to get 20% off my 2019.

Good luck!

^^^^Dontra, respectfully, not intended to criticize. Forget invoice. Means nothing today. Dealers and Manuf got tired of customers wanting "back of invoice" etc. Over the last few years they have been moving the so called dealer invoice amount up. In some cases, there is only 2% difference between invoice and MRSP. Today you can read on this forum in the archives, the best/smart way to buy. How much off of MRSP "before T&L and factory rebate" For example, in some markets, on some models. Discount off of retail can be 5% to 25%. I'm sure you know there are many factors that effect the discount amount. Knowing how popular, how many in the market, how long has the vehicle been in inventory, helps us buy smart.

I live in the Denver area. I was able to get 14K off with rebates. Only additional was USAA and something sent from FCA to my email. That was an extra $1500. So it would have been $12,500.

Finding in their lot is important as they will be more motivated to discount it that way. I'd aim for 20% off MSRP.

I agree. Could even be worth flying somewhere to pick it up.

Try Dave Smith in Idaho.

I ordered my 2019 Laramie from Superior Five in Conway, Arkansas. Contact Kimberely Sims. She is the internet manager. No haggling, 5% below invoice plus rebate. My deal worked out to be about 20% below sticker. This is on an order, don't know how they deal on trucks on the lot.

This is what I did. I live in Arkansas a little over an hour away from Superior Dodge and Kimberly was easy to deal with. Gave me quotes on my trade over the phone with just a picture and talked prices on trucks without having to drive to the lot.

I arrived on the lot and negotiated a little more to be where I needed to be and did the paperwork. It helps to purchase towards the last couple of days before the end of the month. Especially if they need to meet their quotas for dealer hold-back incentives.

I've done the same as Donn. End of month, or better yet, a day or two before Christmas, sales are slow.

Good strategy...what I should have done. After almost 3 mos. of shopping I just got ants in the pants and bought my loaded Laramie. Ended up at about 18.5% off MSRP...not bad but probably could have done better by waiting.

Why PA? Any particular area? I live in PA and am looking for the best deal I can get on a Laramie or Longhorn.

Thanks...just emailed him. I live in Pennsylvania and potentially have two cars to trade towards a new Ram, so not sure if it's too complicated of a deal.

7% is ok but also not great. Just FYI.

But if you're pressed for time and don't mind paying $3-5k more than what doing some more cold calling and emailing around would get you, then definitely go for that deal. At least he's a straight shooter.

Not a single dealer in NJ is willing to give me 7% under invoice, when I go there they just stop responding

hmm weird.

I keep regularly seeing at least $10k ish off msrp on the trim level i want. and that's the advertised price, which means if you play hard to get, they'll likely take another $1k-5k off just for walking in and willing to use up a whole Saturday. I WILL admit though that I'm willing to fly out to get my deal so I use like a 500 mile radius every time I check prices.
