Buzzing noise from dash

I have had a buzzing noise coming from the driver side dash area while accelerating during driving. If I smack the top of the dash on the driver side it goes away. Any suggestions on what it could be caused from?

If smacking it helps, it's got to be a loose vacuum tube, like in an old TV set.
