Camber/Caster Adjustment: No Bolts from Factory

Took my 2014 Ram 1500 Laramie to get new tires and front end alignment. Shop aligned the truck and put on new tires. Told me that truck had no camber/caster adjustment bolts installed. Shop said it is not uncommon to find this these days. Told me if I wanted to buy the Moog Adjustment bolts on AMAZON, they are about $50 and they would install them and realign for free within 30 days. I got the bolts and easy peasy they installed them and what a difference. Steering is now exceptionally tight and steering feels like it is balancing on a pin. If you don’t have the camber caster bolts, I STRONGLY recommend that you get them. Big difference.

Lol. What do you think holds the front lower control arms in place ? There is nothing special as far as i know in the aftermarket ones compared to stock. Hope they didn't charge you 3 hours of work to replace something you will only replace if the factory ones were busted.

What did you have in there before if according to the shop you didn't have have cam bolts installed ?

All 1500s have had factory adjustment bolts since 06. I suggest finding a new shop.

Sounds like they wanted some extra money out of you. Possibly time to find a new shop because i have personally never seen a factory truck not have camber bolts would love to know what was there before the new ones were installed as well.

Maybe a regular bolt, but they would of had to tighten the snot out it to hold the the Camber, Bad eye someone is lying.
