Can an 06 Center Console fit to 04 Ram Swap

Question, Can a 06 full center console fit into a 04. I'm talking about the console that takes away the jump seat. If anyone has done this, let me know how you did it. Been researching and haven't seen anything, also if there is, its poorly written.

I've seen 4G console swaps but nothing for the 06 console. Either way, it takes some customer work to get the front of the console to match up to the dash under the radio.

Just curious, are you wondering how much work it takes, or just if it will physically fit?

It will fit, you will just have issues matching it to the dash, however it is less work than making a 4th gen console work.

I think it's more a case of you are on your own because no one else has done the 06 console. Like I said, the ones that I have seen are all 4G consoles.

Oh my god, quit being a baby. Since you obviously haven't figured it out for yourself; very few ever have bothered to do this kind of swap. Definitely no one here that I know of (who has at least bothered to post about it) in 6yrs has bothered to try. Since you apparently have no initiative or independent thought...go to the sticky with all the manuals and download the 04 and 06 parts books. This will get you the numbers you need for the 4.7 stick shift dash piece (or the piece from the reg cab SRT Ram w/stick) that replaces the cup holder on the early 3rd gen and you can look for any brackets, etc for the later 3rd gen console. Ebay will most likely be your best friend on this one.
