Can I upgrade my head unit and not lose uConnect?

I want to add an aftermarket touchscreen with nav (haven't decided which one yet) but I really don't feel like having buttons on my dash that don't work.

pretty sure that you lose your uconnect.

Yeah it's a complete system. That's why I'll be keeping mine for a while.

Same here. With some upgraded speakers (I got Kickers all around) the stock stereo sounds pretty good and a Lockpick gives it the right features that the factory left out.

I love the Uconnect and that's why I'm keeping the factory radio. I also have the Kicker speakers like Miami Son and it sounds fine.
My favorite feature of the uconnect is telling it what song or artist to play on my Ipod. I only found out recently it would do that!

I had a chance to get a NAV head, but passed on it. They cost an awful lot and I think I prefer my separate TomTom anyway.

Thanks. Ive heard some rumors that the 430n can be had for fairly cheap, so I may do that later on.

Not as cheap as an aftermarket unit, but not too bad. The 430N also has Garmin nav and is better than the nav on the 730N.

Looking at around $2,000 for the 430N or 730N from the dealership or a mopar supplier. The 430 is cheaper at around $1,000 or so. Now of course one of ebay or from a wrecked truck will be cheaper
