Go to your door jamb. It will tell you your payload. And then take that from 10000 and that will give your base weight.

Report back.

Overall...the truck should have no issue. But if you want to know the numbers...i can help with that

Think you should be ok. CAT scales will tell you for sure.

It would be helpful to know your rear axle ratio for sure, but we'll assume 3.73s and that you have the 6.4 (not 6.2) hemi.

I would imagine your loaded, ready to camp weight will be in the 10k range.
As the others have said, its doable I believe with a good wdh, properly set up with sway control. But know once you Crest the 10k loaded trailer weight range your entering Cummins diesel territory, in my opinion anyway. I also think the stated hitch weight is on the light side for a 5th wheel

My TT is in the 6k range, loaded and I know I could do another 2k without issue. I'm sure my 17 could handle that trailer, but it'd be working in the mountains for sure. Good luck with your decision.

Ok. You did not come back yet. So.

Go here

Enter your VIN. Be sure to use capital letters and use the number zer0 and not the letter O.

This will tell you if you do have 3.73 or 4.10.

And get picture of your 2 door jamb stickers.

How do you set up a WDH and sway control on a fiver?

You hit the nail on the head about knowing when climbing a steep grade, especially if the OP has 3.73

Assuming you have a hemi, I have almost the same truck/5W set up you have. Truck is a ‘21 with 4.10’s. You will do fine, plan on about 9 mpg.

Doable but you need to know what your rear axle ratio is.

You should be able to use this link just enter your vin at the end of it and find your truck info.

If you have the 3:73 rear axle ratio your truck will struggle going up inclines/hills. As long as you're not in a hurry your fine. 4:10 rear axle ratio will tow noticeably better.
