Cant find 34 gallon fuel tank

Hello! I have a 2005 1500 SLT quad cab, short bed with a 34 gallon fuel tank. The steel teeth around the main opening of the tank have rusted and apparently cannot be repaired. (not the $20 ring, the part that seems to be embedded in the tank). Looks like PN 55366067AE is discontinued, and I can't find a replacement anywhere. I've tried every parts store, and many many junk yards. No one seems to have this tank.
1. Does anyone know where to get a replacement?
2. Does anyone know if one of the 26 gallon tanks will fit?

Thank you. If you find a new one, please let me know where. I have spoken with many used parts dealers that say they have it, until they try to ship it, and then they don't.
