I just finished claying and sealing my new 1500 CC.

How should I wash/maintain the applicator pads and wipe towels?

You'll want to clean any microfiber towels with a liquid detergent. This detergent cannot have any scents, dyes, or perfumes in it. Something like ALL in the White Bottle is great. Make sure you don't use Fabric Softener, as that will murder your towel fibers, and end up locking them together, thus rendering your towel useless. Either hang dry them or dry on low heat.

For your pads and such, it's pretty easy. Walk over to the sink, use as hot of water as you can stand, some all purpose cleaner sprayed onto the pad, and work the polish out like a paintbrush until the water is no longer murky. For drying machine pads, a dish rack is nice to use.

I usually hand wash everything in sink first with hot water and a detergent. Then I throw them in the washer with nothing. Just to give them a good rinsing, and then let them airdry when I'm done. This method works pretty good for me.
