Hey everyone. I want to put 2 at3030s on my truck. And I want it to be as loud as possible. I really like the at3030s. I was going to go dual exhaust on my 04 ram hemi. I was going to cut the cat out. Will that throw a check engine light or no? I need advice on what setup. Also is two at3030s louder than one at3030???

IRC Down stream O2 sensor out of range fault, unless you find a way to fool the ecm into thinking it is still there and working.

Yes removing the cats will throw a code. Research o2 defouler, this tricks the computer into thinking the cats are still there. 2 at3030's is going to be louder than just one. Tip: I've said this time and time again that a lot of post's are out there claiming that going to dual exhaust will kill low end power. So is all the noise worth the drop in power? Hell no! I stuck with the 2 into 1 and just changed the one muffler and love it.

Thank you for your advice. I am adding a CAI and the truck is tuned to where if I add the dual exhaust you won't notice the low end loss. Definitely doing 2. Neighbors are assholes! Told my dad to push his Cummins down the street before cold starts.....[emoji23]

If you use a low or no back pressure exhaust system any tune will make no difference, you WILL lose low end torque, and your truck will take off like a slug, with little power until you get up some speed.

Go to Amazon and type in 42009. It'll run you $6.49 plus shipping if you don't have prime.

How exactly does this work? I'll be doing a Pacesetter long tube install next Friday and I'm planning on deleting the cat.

Also, about back pressure, if I'm going to run my set up like this....

Si.Do. flow master

Will I be loosing any low end? Using all 3" pipe

With the Y pipe and Flowmaster muffler, you will have enough back pressure to keep your low end torque.

Personally i would get quieter mufflers and then install dual e-cutouts between between the cat and muffler. Bore to ROAR with a flick of a switch. Removing the cat prob' wont make much of a difference in dB levels. If you do remove them then as mentioned you can do non foulers w/ optional steel wool to remove the engine code. It would need to be done if you go through emissions.

The neighbors have cameras on my house because they accused me of egging them. They are seniors and threatened to choke my Lil brother (12) out for getting a ball off their lawn. They try to run my neighborhood. They won't let me play hockey in the street. Police were called because my dad has an aftermarket turbo back exhaust and they think it's too loud. Our neighborhood hates them and the cops last time told me in private in front of my parents they would love to see me get a exhaust package on there. They won't write any tickets either. So I'm doing it

Okay so what do you think I should do? To keep the budget lower I'm keeping cat. I thought about the back pressure and low end torque. I want to keep it all.

I'm just doing one muffler. It'll be dumped at axle. Thanks for making me realize 2 is worse! I need the power

Yes I will. They poisoned our dog and our neighbors dogs. They treat the kids in my neighborhood like ****. They deserve to listen to a loud truck for the hell they caused

You'll have to get 2 O2 sensor bungs and weld them in. You can get those from Amazon as well.
