Short answer is yes, anything not OEM can void the plan. Here’s a thread I started last week, make sure to read ramcares posts:

Google Magnuson Moss Warranty Act!
This is how i take it... And if the cam or lifters wipe out, could they say the modification to the lubrication system caused it?Magnuson Moss apparently only applies to the initial warranty. The extended service plan is governed as a contract under the terms outlined in the plan agreement.
“THE PLAN WILL NOT COVER, OR APPLY TO LOSS OR EXPENSE RESULTING FROM: 9 (i) modifications not approved or recommended by the manufacturer”.
My take is they wont necessarily void an extended care plan if they see something aftermarket installed, but if a factory part fails with an aftermarket part attached to it, it then gives them an out.
It seems like the Max care and the regular factory warranty are two different animals with two different sets of restrictions. My advise is to read them both carefully before you make a decision. The Federal Law may protect you on one of them and may not protect you on the other one. "Pay your money and take your chances"

Magnuson Moss does not apply to Lifetime Maximum Care warranty. The manufacturer is under FCA US LLC and the Lifetime Maximum Care warranty is under FCA Service Contracts LLC; two different legal entities with two different warranty/contracts agreements/conditions. The Lifetime Maximum Care warranty starts when the manufacturer warranty ends; per the Lifetime Maximum Care warranty contract if a third party does maintenance on your vehicle you Must keep all recipes to Prove proper fluids/parts were used. I spoke with a Lifetime Maximum Care warranty representative and asked if I could use a better/aftermarket oil filter and they said "All parts used must have the manufacturer part number". So, basically no. If you use an aftermarket part and get caught, it could void you Lifetime Maximum Care warranty, but that has nothing to do with your manufacturer warranty.SMH Not true. But, a catchcan can be removed in about 15 minutes.
I agree, only thing I want to do is use a better oil filter. Seems silly to me we aren't allowed to use better products. I understand from a modding stand point, but not from a general maintenance stand point.Makes the Max Care warranty look not very attractive, especially if you want to use anything than other than Mopar parts. That's lots of money to lose over a catch can or an oil filter or different shocks etc etc for example.

Probably not, anything aftermarket would deffinately be an inferior product in their eyes. The Hellcat/Demon etc have a factory air/oil separator installed, which is a glorified catch can, wonder if you ran that past your warrenty representive if that would change their tone about a catch can.
I would, especially if you have the Lifetime Maximum Care warranty. But in my opinion it's one of the best mods you can do.Damn, ive read a lot of posts here about catch cans, seemed to be one of the best, most popular mods. This is the 1st thread that has me thinking twice and making me nervous. I just installed mine yesterday and it can be pretty easily removed just incase. Has anyone actually had a dealer notice their cc and say anything about it? How will you guys handle services, remove it before you go?
