Has anyone changed this on their trucks? I believe it is the center link tie rod. It comes off the pitman arm. Mine is shot. Is it easy to do? or should I have someone do it.

The part is about $50, for my specialty mechanic to put it in it won't cost much more than that. Should I just have him do it? It looks easy but looks can be deceiving.

To me, it's an easy install that takes less than 30 minutes but keep in mind I have a lift and all the right tools to do the job. If you have the tools, give it a shot.

Ive learned to work on my truck, you can do it! Rebuilt brakes, suspension, and steering and I had no experience.

If a person has some mechanical inclination, it really boils down to having the right tools.
