Did you do it yourself or have one of the "professionals" do it?
Shaky--go to "autopia" which is a professional detailer site, and you can get all the information you need about ceramic coatings, how they work, how they are installed and you can even buy the coatings themselves if you want to DIY. There is also a detail section here on the forum which may offer you some information about coatings.

P.S.---I see this is your first post---Welcome to the forum, Glad to have you here!!!!
Or they will leave nice holograms lolShaky, Please please do NOT let the dealership detail your brand new truck. Most dealerships are not equipped to properly detail vehicles, both in regards to knowledge or equipment. They will in all likelihood install small scratches in your paint that at some later date you will have to deal with. Worse yet they probably have a swirl-a-matic car wash that they use and the spinning brushes will aslo scratch your paint. Sorry I'm on my soap box but I've seen way to many friend's new vehicles damaged by dealership employees that don't have a clue how to properly clean/detail a vehicle.

Firebird---I believe that everyone has to, at one time or another, own a black vehicle. They usually don't make the same mistake twice. There is nothing better looking than a well detailed black vehicle---the problem seems to be keeping them that way----You have a beautiful truck--a coating would go a long way keeping it that way.

Your truck looks fantastic. I really love the colour. I treated mine with Adams H20 Guard and Gloss. Planning on doing the ceramic coating but for now the H20 is what I'm using.
