Got the Ram ceramic coated a few weeks back. Did the wheels and glass as well. So easy to clean and that shine. Could not be happier with the results.

Did you do it yourself or have one of the "professionals" do it?

I had Bob Moses Ceramic do it here in Phoenix. His “Max” package is 1500.00. Full cut and buff and decontamination. Coats all paint glass and wheels.

I’ve heard of it, but it’s never explained. That’s hilarious.

Coatings are a great investment for some people depending on their circumstances. They last a long time, they give great protection, they are easier to maintain and lastly they look reallllly great. The downside is they ain't cheap.

Shaky--go to "autopia" which is a professional detailer site, and you can get all the information you need about ceramic coatings, how they work, how they are installed and you can even buy the coatings themselves if you want to DIY. There is also a detail section here on the forum which may offer you some information about coatings.
