I copy n pasted this from the Adams link you posted.

Use it on most wheel finishes including paint, powder coat, chrome, and polished aluminum to help maintain shine longer. This coating may add undesirable amounts of gloss to matte and satin finish wheels.

I wouldn't say it really adds gloss to the wheels...Maybe makes them have a deeper black look to them. Below are rear wheels I got for my charger which I used the Adams wheel ceramic coating on.

This is of the wheels before I coated them.

as you can see they are by no means glossy now

don't polish your wheels if you want them to stay matte or satin. I polished the wheels on my truck and they are pretty much glossy now, but I was kinda wanting them to be glossy so I was happy with the results.

Thanks the charger wheels didn’t get too much sheen to them

I’ve never used this stuff and I’ll be honest I’m nervous about the process and afraid I’ll mess up my brand new wheels

Thanks, I watched his video this morning but they were Durango gloss black wheels and at the end he bragged about the shine which isn’t what I’m looking for, I want protection not reflection lol

Wish he had a video doing matte black wheels

The wheels are new in the box so I was wanting to apply this before the tires.

that's what I did with the wheels for the charger. Ceramic coated the front back and barrels before getting the tires mounted.

Buy an extra applicator or two then because you can’t reuse it. You also will want to throw the microfiber towel away that you use to wipe after application

Hey @JB1, did you end up doing this after?
I'm about to buy flat black wheels and am looking to do the same, without making them glossy.

So you didn't bother with the coating at all, or went with something else?

@PWonly I did mine when I did my coating. They look awesome! I didn't buy the wheel stuff.

I used Adams UV Graphene coating on mine. Slightly more gloss than factory, however I would still call them semi gloss. They definitely are not glossy. And talk about easy to clean now. Wow.

I just did the wifes new jeeps wheels as well. Hers are high brushed aluminum with a charcoal grey center spoke. It gives it a shine for sure.
