Changed battery = lost AC and auto headlights help.

Changed the battery in my truck.

Got back in turned it on and I lost all AC control. It just said climate off

My auto headlights are also messed up. Auto now is just on?!!?!?

What happened? Is their a reset i can do?

What did i do? All I did was a battery swap.

Sometimes these gremlins can take time and a few engine restarts to come back to life

Well find out. Dealer told me today that my ram is not communicating with the hvac system at all. Ill keep everyone posted.

Update dealer believes the hvac system shorted out which they believe is causing all the issues. Part will arrive tom so hopefully that will fix everything. Thank God for max care..

The battery change burned out my Hvac unit... ******* rams. Love my truck but its the last ram ill own! Unit replaced problem fixed
