Changing exhaust

I give it this it held up for six years. I have been waiting for it to go out so I can change it around so time for some mods . Still deciding on what muffler to do but its getting cut all off and getting dumped. On with the pics and current run vids.

It bit the bullet last night. Wife goes truck sounds different and I said yup time for a new setup and she rolled her eyes lol.

Loud, ordered a single chamber 13 inch muffler should be in mid week and put on friday night I hope.

Step one

Taking it around the corner... wish the cell phone did it justice.

Still weak on volume but sitting after the spin.


Muffler should be in tomorrow we will see and set up for friday to burn it in and do the rest of it. Im liking the clean rear look, might drop the hitch and just install/uninstall it when needed.

New exhaust is on and painted heres the pics of it before paint and the muffler. Sounds good to me glad theres bearly any drone and sounds wicked at WOT.

I'm thinking about having the dumped exhaust once I redo the whole thing lol, headers, 3" in 3" out y pipe, and 5ft of 3" pipe to my flowmaster super 44, cat delete, I'm gonna get the shop to do from the headers to the y pipe in a 3" pipe also... Total cost is looking like $450. But that looks pretty clean, I like!

^Going down the road driving normal not to bad, I have had a cut out right under the cab and open exhaust also at one time. This new setup is the best of both world fairly tame under 2k and WOT its damn near open .
