if i lived in an area like that, id take a weekend, bring some buddies over and give everyone i could get together a tire and tell em, all the beer and bbq you can stomach the moment you are done with your tire

Wouldn't you need double sided screws or something so there's an actual piece stabbing into the ice rather than just the relatively smooth screwhead?

EDIT: Oh, wait, I see, they go through the inside. But, then how does the tire seal and hold air??

Trans is 90% disassembled and the big dangerous spring was handled pretty easily with a 3” rigid PVC coupling and a shop press haha 4ede795b72bc1944a61c6872013cdb04.jpg

I plan on ordering a Edge billet convertor, and I also have a lead on a used convertor, I’ll see if that plays out. Next week I will order the rebuild kit, and I’m trying to get ahold of a few places for a custom billet valve body. They have started making them with a manual shift into overdrive I stead of the old electronic shift, so I can use a 4 speed shifter instead of a 3 speed shifter with a button to engage the overdrive. Who knows, I might even through in a trans brake [emoji41]

That's your 46RH, right? Definitely go with 4 speeds shifted, no E-button.

Definitely get a trans brake, too!! Only way to get a proper ass-kicking stroker launch.

You sure you aren't gonna lower it after you get enough go-fast parts, bro? :p

No it’s a complete 46re. The Rh had some fitment issues and it was easier to use the complete re. I already sold the other one.

Oh, cool.

Well, opinions, opinions. :) Just like it's my opinion that 4 on the floor with the button being used for the trans brake/launch control would be optimal.

It is optimal but very expensive and I think there are some gear sets that need upgraded that are very pricey. So I’m probably not going with the trans break unless I get different info

Whatever works, right? You have to build what you want, but also what you can.

You can always do a trans brake later, and until then you can still make it 4 on the floor, and maybe use the button for nos or something.

dont knock it till you have tried it man, there is something about going 100mph down the highway and hearing your frame drag the ground that just gives you that rush, lol

plus replacing welded on roll pans that get ripped off gets a bit pricy, but it sure is fun :driver:
