solid work buddy! you shoulda tagged me! i woulda been around more. where did you take it for paint? remember i'm just down the road if ya need anything.

Man I thought you were long gone! You dropped off the face of the earth here lol. I took it to American Auto Painting in Niles. It was a cheap job, nothing fancy. I would have painted it myself but with winter I didn’t have a good garage to spray in. Next time I am towards Boardman I’ll have to stop in.

i was gonna say he got it from me, (who stole it from demon originally.) lol

Didn't mean to fall off the earth. Like i said we added another daily to the fleet, and the truck was "done" so not much to report. (other than it trying to kill me the other day)

I actually work for BluePrint Engines now buddy, I'm long out of Pace. After I left, the building was heavily damaged by a storm, and they moved to the old staples building.

I have heard of that american auto paining. They sound like a modern day earl shibe. $600 paint jobs and such. I have a race car i might let them have at! can't really mess that up.

Wow blueprint? Is that a local job? I’ve seen their engines on Engine Masters, that sounds like a sweet job.

Yeah honestly they are pretty cheap. It cost me like $380 to have the whole bed and a door sprayed, my brothers Audi was painted for about $700, and a buddy’s truck repainted for about $750. I did a lot of buffing to take out the orange peel in the clear coat, other then that I can’t complain.

Its a Sweet Gig, awesome Company! I'm still local. BPE is in Nebraska, but I bounce back and forth, and do most of our industry events, so I was fortunate enough to be presented the opportunity. I keep pretty busy!

I love the engine masters series. We have a 598 Big Block on there in the next episode or so.

Yep I’ve got about 500 miles on the new engine right now, I just had the timing brought up in the last few tune revisions, I took it easy for the first few weeks of driving it. It’s slowly starting to wake up, I’m looking into options for traction bars now. Then trying to make the trans last till I get the new one built and swapped in

What kind of HP is it supposed to be making? Thinking 4l80? Or sticking with a 4_rhe or whatever they are. Lol mine's a 5 speed...or I would consider a 4L

I’ve talked to a few other guys running similar setups, they’ve seen around 530 crank hp. I try not to be overly optimistic or inflate numbers, so I’m sure it should be at least a 500hp engine, I’m cool with that. I’m working on a 46re trans, it’s out of a 96-01 ram 1500 and it can’t be built solid for fairly cheap, and it’s almost a direct bolt on. Still a 4 speed, I would love a t56 manual but it’s just too expensive. Maybe one day down the road I’ll try to find a used supercharger or do a single turbo setup, the engine is built to handle it. We shall see

Which would be ~400-440 at the wheels depending on your final number and drivetrain losses. A big step up from the bone stock ~260-280.

You know, dude, I just realized that you're now pushing srt10 power levels.

*gives pat on the back*

See, you don't need those two strange sounding cylinders!

Yep these Hemis can put out some power when you start building them. My tuners truck puts out around 750hp at the crank with his turbo setup

Just picking away at little things right now. I took apart my driver side headlight and resealed it, I was getting a lot of condensation in it.

Did more work on the dash kick panel and got a few coats of primer sprayed on it. I’ll have to find a dark slate gray and try to match the console and dash parts. Man sanding and painting inside the truck is no fun at all
This is what I started with

Well here’s another piece haha. 46re trans, it’s the right size to fit into the truck, so now I’m just waiting to order the build kit for it. Maybe in a few weeks
