These are 5/16" diameter snap in chrome plugs for the license plate holes if anyone else wants to cover them up, fyi.

The hardware store near me, Ace I believe, has a whole rack of them behind lock and key. I think they were $0.50 each or something. Time will tell if they rust or not. Looks like Amazon has some but kind of expensive.

The hole diameter where front license plate goes on my Ram front bumper is 3/8". I bought a 3/8" plug and too small. Then I bought the next size up which is 7/16" and it was too big? What the heck? There is no other size between these two?

That seems pretty large for a license plate bolt but it should be slightly larger than 5/16" for clearance. I don't know if it changed from 2015 to 2018 but most bolts are not that large to just hold a plate on. The ones I bought seem to be holding up well at least, no rust or pitting.

The hole is 10mm on my 2022 bighorn so I assume it's for fixing the plate holder. I can't find a chrome plug that size anywhere! 3/8 is 8mm and 10mm is 25/64, closer to 7/16. Tried the 3/8 and it's too small.
I'll try Ace, thanks.
