I’ve had this issue with my truck after 2 years of ownership. Replacing the manifolds and bolts is a temporary fix as the new manifolds will warp just like the previous ones did. Permenant solution is to have your old manifolds machined flat, and then replace the bolts. That way, the manifolds have already gone through their heat cycles and no warping should occur after that.

IF THE VEHICLE COMES LIKE THAT I DON'T DO ANTTHING WITH BECAUSE THEY ARE USALLY WRAPPED THE NEW MANIFOLDS COMES WITH ALL NEW BOLTS AND NOW COME WITH A BRACKET THAT THE BOLTS GO THROUGH THE BRACKET THAT PROVENTS THE BOLTS FROM BREAKING AND NOW IF IT FAILS THE MANIFOLD WILL CRACK IN THE CENTER OF THE MANIFOLD

I have this issue and have the TSB report TSB 09-001-24 REV.C Called dealer, they are checking to see if this shows up on my VIN, however, it shows up on the truck. lol I can even smell exhaust at the front of the vehicle, driver's door, and even inside the cabin, so that's not good. I hope they don't try to weasel out.

My question is that you say it may be covered under Powertrain warranty, which I believe is 5 years, 50K. This TSB only came out July 13, 2024 which is 5 years and 4 months after my build. So how can it be under Powertrain if it only came out after Powertrain Warranty expired. Also, don't (or shouldn't) they have to address this KNOW ISSUE (if there's a TSB) due to the fact that there is exhaust in the cabin which can be harmful if not fatal. If I remote start, when I get in it, it is very noticeable... Any RAM or Stellanis Reps on?

1. Are all TSB's covered if the issue actually exists, regardless of VIN? Regardless of Powertrain Warranty date
2. Shouldn't they want to eliminate a know problem that is causing and internal exhaust, carbon monoxide issue?

A recall will be covered regardless of mileage and/or year.

A TSB will be covered whilst ones applicable warranty coverage timeline and/or mileage are applicable.

If you are out of factory warranty and your stock manifolds are the determined point of failure, suggest you either replace your stock manifolds with either:

- another set of stock manifolds, gaskets & bolts
- upgrade to AFE shorty headers and either Remflex of SRT gaskets & bolts
- upgrade to long tubes & get tuned and enjoy the real benefits of what this mod can provide

Called dealer yesterday said they would not cover any repair, even though this is know and on a TSB and my vehicle has this. Even Ram Customer Care said they were not sure if it would be covered bec. it's after the 5 year PowerTrain. The TSB only came out 5.5 years after the build. That is horrible. They hold off? Dealer said bolts break, can't be responsible. I told him hardened steel bolts don't have a normal lifespan of 5 years, come on. Just another example of trying to make us pay. Not pleased with this from dealer and FCA. Also have a 12" screen which is not getting the OTA updates. I am on 59.6 and it should be 60.1. Called FCA and Uconnect and they said that dealer would have to do it and I would have to pay - why, just bec. your software has glitches and needs patches, and your programming doesn't allow it to update OTA why do we, the customers have to foot that bill. We did not cause any of this. Venting, but really disappointed that 2 issues have absolutely no support from RAM.
