That looks like what I need , I do plan on soldering and heatshrinking Ricks sockets with the 6" + wires to my existing harness , I can measure the sockets and pins with my calipers to verify the yazaki p/n s for the post and folks future installs of this Compass Module Only thread , assuming it actually works
Thanks Mike !

I googled the 4 part numbers and couldn't find a vendor that showed actual stock vs getting a quote.
I did find one eBay vendor in New York that had some Yazaki pn's but not the correct ones. Perhaps they could get them though.

Edit 2: Lots of crimp tool links from the same place that may work well...

The part numbers I have for the male pins are 7114-4100-02 (20-22awg) and 7114-4101-02(16-18awg).

Nexus Electronics out of CA has them for $0.21 and $0.22, respectively. I put together an order from them that included components for the overhead harness as well as the 4 speed fan conversion harness (so I don't have to buy the $80 Mopar one and strip it down). I got about 5 times what I need for everything to get the order up to $40 and dodge the minimum order fees. But, the lowest priced shipping option they have is $40. That's insane.

Post up a link for Nexus if you can. And if you can post the part numbers and details for making the Mopar 4 speed blower harness in the conversion thread "that would be great... em yeah".

The Nexus website is nexelec.com.

I was planning on posting the HVAC harness stuff once I get everything and verify the parts are correct. So far I have been unable to find a source for the housing that plugs into the resistor. It's not an issue for me because I bought a used one with a pigtail, but it will be for others.

Even if you can post up the PN's without supply source it's helpful. I will hopefully be able to add the info to the picture or drawing.

These are the correct pins and sockets posted above by 00R/T for the 20/22 wire , I measured them with my digital calipers and the specs from the above drawing are spot on .
So the green connector behind the drivers vents definitely Do use these pins and sockets .

Thanks guys !

I just edited my above post #4 , frustrated that I'm not having a heading displayed ?

@Mpgrimm2 , did you ever get your compass figured out Sir ?

Nope, mine still only displays a compass heading when it wants to, maybe 30-50% of the time. (Did the same with the factory RA2 as well).

At some point I plan on re-seating the connectors at the module and behind the dash but I will likely wait until ib get around to putting in the HomeLink version.

@Mpg , Fwiw it's supper easy to get to the green connector behind the drivers air vent , no tools required , hands only .
When you get there the sockets on top and pins on bottom ( if the same as my truck) are at the #1 , #2 , & #8 locations .

At the compass module end #1 goes to #1 @ the connector , #2 (ground ) goes to #8 @ the connector , and #3 goes to #2 .
Hope this helps !

☆☆☆☆☆EDIT☆☆☆☆☆☆

Do you know the P/N of your module ?

Turns out the p/n compass module I have is good to use on my 14 Express and about 300 more vehicle configurations per mopar , and quirkparts.com also says it's a good for my truck as well .

Thanks Mike !
I did check fuse #80 with my meter , it was good

I just purchased another compass module from Avgas in the classifieds here.

We must be missing something that's not normal , (like the ghost fuse for the radio near the brake booster ) not sure what it could be ...
I had CV2 FLASHED , I verified the fuse , I installed a known good p/n module , I completed the electrical circuit per tech authority against my vin # ( Padre had the tech authority subscription and he was nice enough to run my vin and pm me the compass system for my truck )

Not sure on what to do next other than to try another module , which I should have this Wednesday.

Do you have dashes where the heading should be or nothing at all?

No sir , I do not ?

I'm thinking the dealer realy didn't flash in the CV2 code ?
I've got another module coming this week . If that doesn't work I'm gonna get the CV2 Flashed again ...

If you see nothing, I think it's an issue with the configuration and not with the module.

Maybe somebody here got their codes set before installing the module and can comment. Back when I had my standard cluster I used my tool to set the BCM option to display heading and it showed up in the cluster with dashes.

On my truck's RA4 it at least displays -- (dashes) when i don't have a compass signal.
(converted from stock ra2 & overhead console).

I'm actually hoping you get this to work because i would like to do the same thing. I even have the -- on my new premium cluster where the compass would display. May be a stupid assumption but do you have the screen setup to show the compass in one of the corners?

I have the 3.0 cluster , I'm trying to get it to display on my RA4 8.4NA Radio. I do plan to install a premium cluster some day though .

Stupid question , does the compass module signal have to go through the cluster and then the cluster ensures the heading display on the radio ??

Will a heading display on the 3.0 cluster ?
Do I need a premium cluster to get the compass heading to display on my upgraded RA4 8.4NA?

Thanks for any feedback guys , I'm just brainstorming here .
