ok i already have my system done and mainly here for my Solid axle swap project but thought id share my system with yall ... this is what i have
-stock 136 amp alt and a 280 amp Irragi alt stacked on top of each other
-4 Interstate 18 wheeler batteries .. 2 for the truck and 2 for the system
-6 Kenwood KFC-T207 tweeters in the hearliner
-4 Kenwood KFC-6982ie 6x9 4 ways .. 2 in front doors and 2 in sub box
-2 Kenwood KFC-1362S 5.25 3 ways in rear door
-2 Audiopipe APF-1604 1600 watt 4 channel amps for the highs(one for tweeters and one for other 6 speakers)
-1 Tsunami HCAP-20 20 farad capacitor
-2 Audiopipe AP-15001D amps that put out true 1500 watts at 1 ohm
-2 12" FI Q subs dual 1 ohm
-1 Kenwood radio which will be changed to Double Din after my SAS project
i built the custom sub box(3/4" MDF) which takes up the whole center of the truck. i cut out the center console and custom built the box to flow from the 4x4 shifter to the back seat an up and over the back seat(will be able to see better idea in pics of what im talking about). The box is 4.65 cubic feet and is ported to 30 hz which slams the low notes like a ******* beast. i have 2 runs of 0 gauge wire from the 280 amp alt to the 2 batteries under the back seat(the 0 gauge wires actually required a 2/0 lug for sizing purposes. from there ran another 0 gauge to the capacitor. Since the capacitor only has 3 outputs i had to build a custom copper bus bar system under the back seat, which has the 3 outputs runs of 4 gauge wire from the capacitor and then one run of 4 gauge to each of the 4 amps.
hope you all enjoy and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask
