Functionally the same. Mpgrimm2 are better quality for sure (I’ve had both). The first one I had from getupkid didn’t work correctly, but this one does.

So is this everything I would need to go from 5 inch radio to 8.4 in my 2014 Ram 2500? I assume everything works? Nav? I was going to order the uaq kit from infotainment but it's a lot.

If you have a 4sp fan in your 2500 (I’m pretty sure you do), you’d need a different harness plus a resistor.

You can find the resistor for about $15 on eBay.

Yes I can build the 4 speed harness, fan harness and just got in a bunch of New OEM Mopar/Denso resistors to go along with harness orders (pretty sure I still have a HVAC module for the 4 speed conversion too). Tried one of the knock off resistors with an order and it bit me. . . Won't do that again.

If you can sell me everything else I'll need I'm leaning towards this route. If I decide to upgrade to the UAQ radio later would I just need change out head unit and USB port then? Sorry I been reading the thread on upgrading in the past but since everything was not readily available all together I was waiting until I could afford a kit at infotainment. I'll be out of service area most of today but will try to figure this out tonight I would like to have it installed prior to our trip the last week of July.
