What is the recommendation for putting a conditioner on my factory spray-in bedliner? The truck was parked mostly outside for the first 8 months I had it (bought it new) then I put a tonneau cover on about a month ago. Thanks.

I just wash mine is all, but its inside all the time ,and cover is usally on.
Anything you spray on usally attracts dirt.
But there could be a product, I haven't really looked.

PS, speaking of slippery, people up the street made a fancy cement drive way ,kind of a colored stone look, and sealed it nice.
It got so slippery when wet you could not walk on it, so this last year they had it covered with this rubber paving stuff, made from old tires, looks great, but in summer, hot as hell, great in winter. Cost lots.

I concure with the above posters. If you put a type of conditioners on the liner, it will get slippery.

I used to use a spray in the bed of one of my Rams years ago. After a few months I stopped. It was slippery and nothing stayed in place. Plus when the pollen hit hard in the Spring, it seeped in a few gaps in the vinyl cover and tailgate. The pollen stuck to the coating, so then I had to scrub it out with warm water and a tire bush.

I’d leave it alone.

You can put a vinyl/rubber conditioner on it to restore the sun-faded color. It will eventually soak in and dissipate on the surface but it will be slippery in the meantime. 303 protectant works well as it soaks in quickly, isn’t overly shiny and has UV protection.

Is this a spray in liner like Line X? If so I wouldn't put anything on it but soap and water. If it is the plastic drop in liner then I agree with the above.

Just soap and water on mine. My truck lived outdoors and never had a fading issue in the four years I had it.

If it was unusually dirty I would go to the coin-op car wash and use the soapy scrub brush on the bedliner to get the dirt out then air dry it on the drive home.

I find that a good coating of river bottom silt followed by a smattering of rain water keeps mine looking the same from month to month. It is necessary to pick the dead leaves, clogged dirt, and bird feathers out of the drain holes occasionally, though.
That's why hi pressure washers where made, just hit the drains and call it a day.
Those where great on the old trucks, open both doors and get under the seats and rear cab corners.
all kinds of stuff would come flying out, mice , last weeks lunch, tools you lost, money.

It’s a factory spray in liner. My 23 Limited sat on the lot about 2-3 months before I bought it and the bottom of the bed was already very dull compared to the side walls. I sprayed it with some 303 before putting my bed cover on and it looked uniform and like new again.

Might consider a horse stall mat. Super heavy duty, 1/2" thick, 100 lbs, 4x6, and about $60 at horse or tractor places.

Water. Sweep it out, rinse it out. If you get something like oil onto it, wipe it out, some Dawn or other degreaser cheap dish soap, rinse. All done

My 2018 1500 Laramie has a factory spray in liner that still looks great today and all I’ve ever done is wash it when I wash the truck every few months.
