Cooper st maxx tires

So I put Bilstein 5100 struts in set at 2.8 and have a 1 inch spacer in the rear and have been looking at tires for a while. The other day after letting a friend use my truck I noticed a chunk missing out of the sidewall of my stock goodyears so I guess this is my excuse to finally put 35's on my truck. I've been doing a lot of research and think I am going to go with the cooper st maxx in 35x12.5 r20. Town fair tire gave me a quote of just over $1100 out the door for 4 tires installed with tax. Does this sound like a good price? Does anyone have these tires and have anything good or bad to say about them? I am nervous about how they will effect the ride of the truck since they are an E rated tire. I also have 1/4 spacers ready in case they rub.

I have them and have zero complaints... they have been great on wet roads, off road.. not loud enough to hear with the windows up and a pretty quite hum with them down.. I like them.. 1100 out the door is awesome in my opinion.. I paid 1200 out the door

That's a helluva deal! Where are you located? I was quoted $1400 for the same tires mounted at a local tire shop. The cheapest I've seen for the tires alone was $1140 after rebates. Go for it!

I wanna see pics if you get it....my 12 ram has 25k miles on the original tires and I'm dreading on the fact that I have to pay over $1k on tires...lol.

I have the same exact setup at the OP so I feel ya...shopping around it hard. But if I'm gonna spend that kinda coin, I want something that looks aggressive, rides great, and low tire noise (if possible). Let us know the results.

I also have the Cooper St maxx's. They are 33's but so far, they ride a lot better than my old duratracs. No chuncking and I can barely hear them on the road. Plus, they last about twice as long...

I live about 5 miles outside of Boston and ntb website had the best deal at about $278 a tire plus about $17 install so town fair tire originally quoted me about $1600 but they match any price online. So once I showed them that price they matched it and even offered 5% off the matched price. I'm calling them back today to order them.

I am thinking about running these as well when I replace my tires. I am looking at getting Bills at 2.1 and running spacers. Anyone know what the largest spacer I could run with just Bill's without rubbing? I have been searching and searching and cant find that. I would like to bump my tires out a little more than the 1/4".

Finally got them installed today and they rubbed a tiny bit so I put 1/4 inch spacers on but they ride and look great.

I also like the st maxx , I would like to put the 295/70r17s on my stock rims and stock 2015 2500 ram , has anyone tried this and can confirm they won't rub?
