Could somebody tell me if a 5 lug 3rd gen wheel wil fit my 2010 gen 4 truck?

Could anyone help by telling me whether the wheels from a late third generation 1500 truck will fit my 2010 fourth gen 1500

My experience is that they have same bolt pattern so will fit, but 4th gen may have more backspacing than 3rd Gen so will stick out more. Also, lug nuts aren't interchangeable. The Classic would be included but I can't speak to special wheel or trim packages on any donor truck.

Yes, just use your original lug nuts. Somewhere in the 4th gen run (I don't actually know when) they changed the thread pitch. The 5 lug wheels are forwards and backwards compatible between 3rd and 4th gen. I had 4th gen sport wheels on my 2003.

Yes they do, I have a 3rd gen steel wheel for a spare on my 4th gen.

Hopefully they're free, I certainly wouldn't buy any of the 3rd gen wheels because they all look like dog schit imo, especially those in the ugly chromed flower petal design.

Had a 2002 Ram 1500 with 17" wheels, they fit my '15 when I tried them out of curiousity.
