Crack marks between doors

So that film or whatever it is that is between the two side doors is cracked and coming off on my truck. It started happening with the heat in Phx with over 100 degree summers but now has gotten worse. Just wondering if anyone else has or had the same issue and if there is anything I can do to fix it.

The oldest daughter lives in Scottsdale and her hubby's truck did something very similar.

He couldn't get the part (and I wouldn't be surprised if the applique is available anymore for your truck) so he took it to the bodyshop and had them strip the cracked stuff off and paint the area.

Yeah that is what I was thinking I would have to do because its just a film that is chipping so I think I might just have to tear it off and paint it over with something or just take it in to a shop

I'm sure you could find a vinyl shop to do it cheap with some of there cutoffs

Yea its just vinyl strip on it
