I have a 2011 ram single cab with the alpine stereo and the uconnect in the dash. My amp just took a dump on me and I'm trying to find out what other stock amps I can use. The part number on mine is 05064417ah but I can't seem to find any at all and the dealer says they are discontinued. Any help would be great

I know this is not the info you specifically asked for but for the cost of a new OEM amp, you could probably get a good aftermarket amp with speaker level inputs for ease of install or even a sound processor with the amp which also can use speaker level inputs. But that depends on you willingness and ability to do a bit of wiring.

having said that, I don't have any cross reference info. good luck

as this was a good suggestion it wouldnt work in your situation. the signal from the head unit to the amp is digital so you can not get a speaker level to go into an amp or loc.

i would also recommend an aftermarket amp but search around on this forum there are a few new modules that allow you to get the digital signal after the head unit before the amp.

in doing so be prepared to swap out the speakers also as you will get better sound.

that's something I didn't know! the Alpine head unit sends digital signals to the amp? mainly for my curiosity, how/where does it convert to analog/speaker level? Doesn't apply to my 2015 but I'm just very curious. I'm a total car audio geek and I really just gotta know!

On a side note, the work around for me in the past when I couldn't get a wiring diagram for the in dash harness, I'd gotten speaker level signal for the wires leading to each speaker then into the sound processor. Not ideal but got the job done. Assume that would not work in OP's situation since the signal isn't reaching the speakers due to the blown amp.

the factory alpine setup has an external amp that converts the digital signal to the audio signal. on all the other setups without the alpine you can get the speaker level signal at the head unit.
